1. Museum of architecture and design/Museum of Architecture and Design  

On March 29, 1975, there was opening of the Museum devoted to the history and prospects of development of architecture in the Urals (now the Museum of architecture and design). The Museum is housed in the buildings of monuments of the XIX century industrial architecture, the former shops of Ekaterinburg mechanical factory.




2. Nevyansk state historical and architectural Museum  

Nevyansk state historical and architectural Museum today is one of the most famous, largest and most visited museums in the region. Sightseeing tour in the capital of the mountain Kingdom of the Demidovs is among the 12 most popular tour routes of the Middle Urals. The main center of attraction in the Museum is the Leaning Tower of the Demidovs – one of the most mysterious monuments, built in the first third of the XVIII century. The Museum Exposition tells about the history of Nevyansk region in the late XVII – early XX centuries.

3. Excursion to the Upper and Lower Tavolga (pottery)  

Pottery workshops in Tavolgas have become one of the major brand tours of the Urals. Tavolga ceramics (Tavolozhskaya keramika) is the only ceramic handicrafts in the Sverdlovsk region. Pottery in the villages ofLower and Upper Tavolgas originated in the late XVII century,when deposits of red clay were discovered along the river Neiva. Tavolga pottery provided virtually all of the Urals with their products.

4. Excursion to the border "Europe-Asia" 

Ekaterinburg is the largest city on the land border of Europe and Asia. Here you can get from Europe to Asia and back from Asia to Europe making just one step. The tour to the border of the two parts will give you this chance. The unique place is only seventeen kilometers from the city.

5. Information center for nuclear energy in Ekaterinburg 

Information center for nuclear energy in Ekaterinburg was opened on January 25, 2013 in the building of the Ural State Economic University. The purpose of the creating the ICNE in Yekaterinburg was to increase awareness about the nuclear industry and popularize science and technical specialties. There is a video hall with a panoramic screen where visitors can watch popular science films and interactive tables to answer quiz questions. The visitors can also measure their level of natural radioactivity on the radiometer and learn more about the work of the nuclear industry.

6. The Yeltsin Center

«Presidential center of B. N. Yeltsin» foundation (Yeltsin Center) is a non – profit organization, named after the first President of Russia. The main objective of the Center is preserving, studying and understanding the historical heritage of Boris Yeltsin in the context of political and social events of the 90s. The Centre was planned to be a socio-political organization that promotes the rule of law, the study and development of Institute of presidency in Russia. The sphere of interests of the Center is wide: supporting educational, research, charitable and cultural projects.

7. The Museum complex of UMMC 

The Museum complex of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company is one of the world largest museums of military and automotive equipment, and history. Currently, the Museum consists of two exhibition centers and an open exposition platform. The collection of UMMC Museum complex has about 5.7 thousand exhibits, including 350 units of military equipment and more than 200 soviet-made and foreign cars, motorcycles, bicycles and other vehicles.
